5"x 5" inch Booklet

 

This booklet concept is based off of a fictional design exhibition featuring the famous designer, Michael Beirut.

 

The exhibition is titled "#000000 & #FFFFFF" (the hex codes for black/white) because Michael Beirut often designs in a black and white color palette. The booklet cover has a hand-cut pound sign to allow the letters of the hex codes to show through. Inside the booklet are square cards that contain material about the exhibition as well as photos and quotes by Beirut. A map of the exhibition and contact information for the museum is on the back.

Michael Beirut's emphasis as a designer is to use design as a way to solve problems. To represent this idea, I designed a rubix cube with varying images to be featured as a branded product that could be sold in the museum's gift shop.
